The National Authority for Management and Regulation in Communications (ANCOM) exhibits, for the first time, at the Black Sea Defence and Aerospace (BSDA) international expo-conference, the monitoring equipment it uses both to measure the degree of coverage with mobile voice signal, as well as for the activity of monitoring the spectrum of radio frequencies in Romania.
“This is for the first time we have exhibited our monitoring equipment at such a large event. ANCOM monitors and controls the use of spectrum resources through a monitoring system consisting of fixed and mobile monitoring stations, goniometry and geolocation systems, as well as through our special vehicles equipped with specific equipment for controlling quality and coverage of communications services. We also want to present to the visitors our own tools that we have developed for the users of electronic communications services. We hope that the visitors of the BSDA expo-conference will find a lot of relevant information regarding the equipment and activity of our Authority,” stated the head of ANCOM, Vlad Stoica.
The Authority’s representatives will provide visitors with complete information about the information tools dedicated to electronic communications users in Romania, respectively: www.monitor-emf.ro and www.aisemnal.ro.
Recently, the institution started a campaign to measure the degree of coverage with mobile signal in Romania for the year 2022.
The Black Sea Defence and Aerospace expo-conference has been held every two years since 2007 and is one of the largest events in the defence industry worldwide.
The 8th edition of the event, which takes place between May 18 and 20, 2022 at the Romaero Baneasa Complex, is organized by TNT Production Romania with the support of the Ministry of National Defence, the Ministry of Interior and the US Embassy in Bucharest.
The event is attended by exhibitors from around the world who present to those interested equipment and vehicles used for land, air and sea defence. At the same time, the equipment and services related to the defence industry are presented, Agerpres reports.
